Vintage Vocals Workshop details

We are excited to announce our Vintage Vocals Workshop on Saturday 23rd August at the Normansfield Theatre, Teddington.

We will learn to sing two songs in the mode of the Andrew Sisters and spend some time with The Rockabellas, one of the UK’s most popular vintage harmony groups. The girls have offered to sing with us and share expert tips and advice for this genre, which could be anything from costumes to vocal technique!

We promise you a wonderfully friendly atmosphere, the chance to have fun whilst learning new skills and most importantly an encouraging approach to singing togther.

There will be an exclusive evening performance by The Rockabellas to round off our day of vintage song! The Bellas will perform a concert covering classic songs from “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy..”, “Moonlight Serenade”, “Alexander’s Ragtime Band”, through to modern hits with their vintage twist such as “That Man”, “Creep” and “Crazy In Love”. You’ll be invited to join in with the songs we will have learned during the day and perhaps take on their choreography challenge….

“My highlights were the great atmosphere throughout the day… Good to use a score and be taught more about music theory… The band… Jim’s sense of humour and energy.  The free pencil – obviously!”

Booking is now closed. Check out our next workshop on Saturday 20th September.
